Be a Producer · Crowdfund the Finish

The credit ladder.

Pay any amount. Producer billing scales with your contribution.

The film is shot. What's left is post — the edit, sound, color, music, and the festival run that gets it in front of audiences. Instead of asking for donations, we're asking you to come on board as a producer.

Pay what feels right. Every contributor's name appears in the credits — the larger the contribution, the larger the billing. No equity, no shares — just a real on-screen producer credit on an independent Kodava film.

Credit ladder

  • ₹500+ Friend of the Film Name in the extended online credits roll
  • ₹2,500+ Associate Producer Name in the on-screen end credits
  • ₹10,000+ Co-Producer Larger billing card in the end credits
  • ₹25,000+ Producer Top-tier producer billing on poster & credits

Tiers are guideposts — you're free to contribute any amount. Credits are assigned to the name & email used at checkout. Razorpay emails the receipt automatically.

The Story

A story rooted in the hills.

Synopsis

Balli Nari is a fictional drama set in the mist-covered hills of Kodagu. A young girl walks home from school on a day meant for celebration. What begins as the start of a future becomes the start of a question this region has been afraid to ask.

The series follows the days that surround that walk — the rumours, the silences, the elders who look away, and the rage that gathers when a refusal becomes a wound. None of the names in the film are real. The shadow they cast is.

The film does not point at one place or one family. It asks the wider question — about the “Nari” that lurks not in the forest, but within society, in the form of forced marriages and the violence that follows rejection.

In Memory of the Lost Innocence

For every silence we have kept,
may this film return a question.
